I bought a chair at a garage sale for $5.00, the poor chair looked like it had not seen the light of day in years, but I someone how felt at it had potential. I had to talk my husband into actually spending $5.00 on the chair. After spending a few weeks staring at this chair in my room, I decided to recover it. I got some reupholstering tacks and some new fabric on clearance, total for both was $10.00 and I updated this old and draper chair into a new updated chair that now is in my living area for everyone to see.

Making Money Online - EHOW.COM
There are several ways to make money online. I made thousands, yes thousands of dollars on ehow.com I am no longer writing for them but can give you some really great tips on how to make money on there.
1. Write articles about the most current events. For example: I wrote an article in 2007 about the tax refund money that most IRS filers were getting and the dates that everyone could expect them. I made over $400.00 the first month I wrote that article, which was amazing because it was also one of the first articles I wrote.
2. Make sure you include pictures with your article. My articles that had pictures produced the most money.
3. Write something unique, there are tons of recipe articles; you can only re-write or "re-invent the wheel" so many times!
4. Make sure the writings has details and it is easy to understand. That is very important with ehow, hence, they are "how to" articles.
5. Last but not least, make sure your grammar is superb, have someone proofread anything you submit, unless of course you can do it yourself.
6. Keep writing, the more you write, the easier it gets, and the more money you make. If you need any ideas on what to write about, write a comment below. I can try to help! I don't mind since I don't work for them anymore. It is easy for me to come up the ideas.
Good luck ~ keep at it, you can make a ton of money on there. Be patient, it can take some time!

First Home Remodeling Project -Stairs
Ok, I couldn’t wait..I was going to update my blog and make it jazzy before posting this, but o'well!. Here are the pictures of my first home remodeling project. I was sick of vacuuming the stairs and tired of our carpet. I was ready for a change! So, I took a chance…I ripped up the carpet on my stairs and prayed the wood underneath was good. I was lucky; it was manageable and looked really good for builder’s grade wood. So, began my (our..My husband had to help) week long project. Here is the step by step play what we did:
1) Removed the Carpet and Tacks
2) Sanded and stained the Top Part of the Step, part you walk on (Tread)
3) Painted the risers, the walls, and even the spindles, high gloss antique white is what we used
4) Then we put a coat of polyurethane on each Tread
Total Cost $150.00 for brushes, paint, stain, sanding paper, and polyurethane

The After |
This was a econimcal way to change the look of our house and save TONS of money. I can't imagine how much it would have cost to have wood floors installed on my stairs.
Making Money and Saving Money
Ok, I am a working Mom with two wonderful children and a great husband. I started this blog to teach everyone and anyone that wants to learn how to make extra money and save money. It can be done! I have done several home remolding projects at my home for little or half the cost than most think it can be done for. I have earned several hundreds of dollars online, doing things in my spare time. If you have any suggestions or tips; please feel free to leave a comment. BTW, I am very sassy, so watch out...LOL
